About Codex91

Codex91 is a general web directory — a catalogued index of websites, organised by subject and made available as a free public reference. The directory follows the editorial periodical model: entries are filed into named sections, each representing a broad field of commerce or interest, and the whole is offered as a navigable record of the indexed web.

The directory holds eight hundred and fifty-one entries across twenty-two sections, from The Personal Column and The Sporting Page to Science & Technology and The Travel Pages. Listings were accepted from all parts of the web without geographic restriction, and the directory makes no distinction by the size or commercial standing of a listed site.

Submission is free and open. Any site with a distinct domain and a clearly stated purpose may apply for inclusion using the directory's addition form. Submitted entries are reviewed before publication; the editorial threshold is modest, and most clearly stated, legitimately operating sites are accepted.

Codex91 does not sell placement, sponsored listings, or preferential positioning. The order of entries within each section reflects the order of acceptance, not commercial arrangement. This policy is the basis of the directory's editorial character.

The directory is maintained on a continuing basis. Readers who discover a broken or misfiled listing are invited to report it through the site's contact channels. The aim of Codex91 is a reliable, accurate, and impartially maintained public index.
